Q: Who is Garage Wallaroo? A: Garage Wallaroo is a company created solely to design, produce and market garage wall inserts as a package delivery solution to combat the growing problem of having packages stolen off front porches or damaged by inclement weather. Our products enable your packages to be safely delivered to the inside of your garage.
Q: How do Garage Wallaroo products prevent package theft? A: Our package delivery wall inserts provide a secure passage from the outside of your home directly into your garage out of sight of potential thieves.
Q: What are the main products offered by Garage Wallaroo? A: We offer two sizes of wall inserts:
- The Roo: Conveniently fits between wall studs 16" on center, which is the most common wall spacing in most homes and garages.
- The Boomer: Fits between wall studs 24" on center. Having a full 8” wider receptable than the Roo, this wall insert is more accommodating for larger box sizes.
Installation Questions
Q: How do I install a Garage Wallaroo wall insert? A: Every home design is unique. Installation involves selecting a suitable location for your wall insert, cutting the rough opening in the wall, fitting the wall insert, and securing it in place. Q: Can I install a Garage Wallaroo product myself? A: If you have solid handyman skills and tools, it is highly likely you can install our wall inserts. However, if you are not comfortable working with power tools or not familiar with the design of your home, we strongly recommend hiring a professional handyman to ensure the wall inserts are installed properly. Special attention needs to be paid to ensure that no bearing walls are cut during installation.
Q: What tools will I need for installation? A: Depending on your home’s construction materials, tools typically needed include an oscillating saw, measuring tape, drill, a level, wrench or ratchet set, and a caulking gun. Once again, additional tools may be needed depending on your home’s design and construction.

Q: What are the dimensions of "The Boomer"? A: The “Boomer’s" overall dimensions measure 27" H x 26 1/2" W x 12 1/16" D and fits between studs spaced 24" on center. The rough opening required is 22 ½” wide by 23” high.
Q: What are the dimensions of "The Roo"? A: The “Roo’s" overall dimensions measure 27" H x 18.5" W x 12 1/16" D and fits between studs spaced 16" on center. The rough opening required is 14 ½” wide by 23” high.
Q: Are Garage Wallaroo products weather-resistant? A: Yes, our wall inserts are powder-coated with a matte black finish to prevent weather infiltration and rust.
Q: Do Garage Wallaroo products come with a warranty? A: Yes, all Garage Wallaroo products come with a one-year operational warranty from date of purchase. All units are quality checked at the factory and packed securely for delivery. We require you to inspect the unit for any damage that might have been caused by carrier delivery and report that damage within 24 hours of receipt of unit. We take no responsibility for any damage caused by the installer (whether done by yourself or a hired professional), nor any subsequent damage caused by package delivery personnel when the units are in use. Q: How secure are Garage Wallaroo products? A: Our wall inserts are made from solid steel and feature concealed hinges and internal fasteners. Every unit is provided with a simple locking mechanism that can secure the door in the closed position when you are away from your home.
Q: Do I need to provide delivery codes to couriers? A: No, our products are non-digital, designed to work without the need for delivery codes, simplifying the process for both you and the delivery personnel.
